Message: Won't make the national, heading to California on Sept 11th, my son is having shoulder surgery on 16th, I was planning on running to make DD contacts to finish up my 500 DD transmits. But with so few of us left and trying to get 6 contacts on 2 bands with folks heading to the national might be slim pickings. I will run heavy on way back from California. I will attempt to run a on way to California. will post trip in next couple of weks.
