Message: Kerry, if there is a next time the spotting will be different. Also, we published the freqs that we were going to be on and, after it was pointed out that there were "county hunters" freqs, we tried there, too. My point was that no one was listening either place. Maybe they were waiting for the spotting system to ring their chimes so they could amble over to the rig and listen. Whatever, no one was there. We did work other hams across the country so we were getting out. Being absolutely new to the process, we did make the effort to get on this forum and give advance warning of our intent but it obviously didn't work as planned. Maybe there will be a next year or a next time. Ron seemed to be up for another go at some future point. Maybe a targeted group of counties instead of that loop to give more time where we would be needed. Maybe. 73.
