Message: Thanks for your efforts! HF mobiling can be challenging for sure. The top priority for any special county hunting run is successful spotting. Without this, there will be little to no activity as we don’t know when/where to find you. Unfortunately, for your entire 1200 mile trip your spots only came thru about five times. Usually those were not formatted correctly. It’s “County, State”. Such as “Loving, TX”. Do not type “cty”, “county”, etc. just simply “County, ST”. Anything else won’t come thru the system. This is undoubtedly why you had no county hunting activity. There were many, including myself, that needed those rare counties and were by the rig all day. We just didn’t know where/when to look for you due to no spots coming thru. Hopefully next time things will go smoother for you. Try practicing the spotting process and look at other spots for examples. Thanks again for your time and effort to make your trip a reality!
