N5MLP - Sunday 05/01/2022 to Monday 05/23/2022 using SSB Only
My 2022 trip to TX, NM, AZ, UT, NV, and CA:

NOTICE - Friday 5/13/22 - The overall impact of the delay experienced on 5/9 due to road closuure on I-80 below Truckee, Conal A is expected to be a one day delay on all trip segments beginning on 5/10/22. Dates below have been adjusted accordingly and reflect the new expected dates for all segments as of 5/11/22. Additional changes had to be made 5/12 due to road conditions in Trinity county. Humboldt county had to be deleted and Lake was run on 5/12.

1. Good for 5*, Bingo, 3 Bingo Cinco credits, N prefix, 1x3 call, Master Gold, Master Platinum

2. 23-day trip in six states beginning May 1st and ending May 23rd. I intend to run all of Arizona and most of CA (except for Modoc, Del Norte, and Humboldt.

3. My main reason for making this trip is to get Mobile Diamond (MD) contacts in three California counties: Lake, Kern, and Santa Barbara. That will satisfy 25% of my remaining 12 needs for that award.

4. I am trying to get new band contacts on 12m, 15m, and 17m this trip as well as 20m and 40m. My rotation will be 12m, 15m, 17m, 20m, and 40m. In some instances, I will probably not finish all bands before we run out of the county in some counties, especially on the first two and last two days of the trip when we have to travel 350 miles or more on interstates or US highways.

5. I will have my cell phone with data and hot spot capability to post myself if needed in counties where I have Verizon coverage, but may not have coverage in some of these areas.

6. Notice: This is my intended route, but deviations may occur if I run short on time any day or other reasons.

We will be self-spotting, but if we don't have cell coverage, would appreciate any help spotting us. Also, if you hear someone calling and I don't respond to them, please assist with relay help.
